Graham Epstein, 24, is a multidisciplinary creative, filmmaker, and musician based in Los Angeles, California. He grew up in Denver, Colorado and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Screen Studies from The New School in New York City. Graham has created music videos and ads for various artists and brands.

Graham has traveled to every continent in the world. The exploration of new terrains, along with his love of eclectic music from around the world, has influenced and defined his specific filmmaking style. Graham is inspired by “atmospheric” parts of the world, where the topography and culture create an almost science fiction quality. The ambient music of Harold Budd and others in the genre also furthers his exploration into the fictional realms he creates. He draws inspiration from filmmakers such as Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Hayao Miyazaki, and David Lynch. His favorite films include Walkabaout, Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives, and Nausicaa.

Graham is also greatly inspired by, and collaborates with, his older brother, Jackson Epstein, a prominent visual artist based in Brooklyn, who creates otherworldly experiences that resonate on a human level.
